Using the popular Boyds AT-ONE stock as its basis, this 457 Varmint variant makes an ideal trainer. With the push of a button, length of pull can be adjusted from 12.5" to 14.25". Comb height is similarly adjustable, with 5/8" of rise available. The stiff laminate stock provides a nice, rigid platform to work and the threaded heavy barrel makes fitting a suppressor easy. In addition to the receiver-mounted, push-to-fire safety, we chopped almost an inch of length from the action and slab-sided it to reduce its footprint and weight. With the exact same swappable barrel system as the 455 and the same reliable polymer magazine system, the 457 is without a doubt the best rimfire platform we've ever fielded.

The CZ 457 At-One Varmint SR is a precision-oriented rimfire rifle designed for field use, varmint control, target practice, and small-game applications. Chambered in .22 LR, this right-handed bolt-action rifle combines a heavy cold hammer forged barrel with a durable black Nitride finish for dependable performance and corrosion resistance. The steel receiver is also finished in black Nitride and drilled and tapped for compatible optic mounting solutions. An integral 11mm dovetail provides a practical foundation for sight or scope installation, while the threaded muzzle supports compatible muzzle accessories.
The Boyds adjustable laminate wood stock gives the CZ 457 At-One Varmint SR a stable shooting platform and a distinctive two-tone appearance. Its adjustable comb helps users establish a more consistent cheek weld and sight alignment, while the adjustable length of pull allows the rifle to be configured for a broad range of shooters. The full-size stock includes swivel studs for sling attachment and is designed to support comfortable handling during extended range sessions or field use. A two-position safety provides straightforward operation, and the adjustable trigger can be tuned to suit individual preferences.
The CZ 457 action is paired with a five-round magazine and a reliable bolt system intended for smooth, controlled cycling. Its heavy barrel profile helps provide stability during deliberate shooting, while the 1-in-16 twist is well suited to common .22 LR bullet weights. With no factory sights included, the integral dovetail allows the user to select an optic setup tailored to the intended application.
