NOTICE FOR OUR CONNECTICUT CUSTOMERS
Governor Lamont and the House Legislature has advanced the bill which would ban the sale of all semi-automatic handguns with glock-style cruciform triggers. While Glock will not be the only brand or firearm affected by this legislation, it is that most popular and widely distributed brand that will be affected.
Coupled with this legislative attack, supply of firearms and accessories from Glock has become extremely unstable and sporadic. Many models are unavailable, most are being restricted in distribution, and new products already released are in short supply. This is leading to panic buying and more shortages. Many stores and sites are simply out of stock all the time currently.
Glock has shown little to no interest in fighting any restrictions from any state on their products and instead, has attempted to comply with an ever-changing set of restrictions and legislative attacks. Either way, it appears that if the bill passes as written today, any sale, importation, or transfer of any Glock firearms which use the current trigger mechanism will become illegal as of August 1, 2026. Please follow the CCDL (www.ccdl.us) for the most up to date information as this bill progresses.
