The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting course is a great way for you to learn the basics of pistol shooting from the top firearms training organization in the world! The course may be used for you to obtain the certification for your concealed carry permit in Connecticut and many other states.

Our NRA Certified Instructors have been teaching firearm safety for over 15 years and have successfully trained thousands of people just like you on the basics of safe firearm handling and ownership. Taught in our full service store and training center in Watertown, CT, you will be comfortable and relaxed in a professional atmosphere while you learn the basics of safe gun handling and the skills necessary to safely own and handle a firearm.

We will also help you in completing your CT State Application and have a notary on site to complete your paperwork with you when you leave, you will have everything you need to apply with your local police department or town.

Once you complete your reservation, please download the course information packet that will be made available after the transaction is completed. This contains important information as well as a copy of form DPS-799-C which is the application to obtain your CT State Permit to Carry Pistols and Revolvers (Pistol Permit).

The total cost for this course is $100.00 which can be paid in class or online. We ask that you do not take space in a class if you do not plan to attend. We will send a verification email to the email address provided when you complete your reservation. If you do not plan to attend, please have the courtesy to let us know in advance so that we can open the class to other students.
